While the producers are out gathering a wealth of programming, the director gets to do the not-so-fun, but necessary, task of securing funding for the station.  ICTV is fortunate to have income from the Grand Rapids Area Cable Commission and cable television viewers.  We love our members and appreciate those who let us earn a little by doing video work for them.  The rest is all about asking.  Today I asked the Itasca County Board to continue its funding and I am confident it will continue.  County Board is one of our most watched government meetings. 

I'll also finish up on grant writing where I get to tell of the 90+ programs in August alone, or the intern who loved working for the station.  Don't let me kid you; there is fun in writing about all of that.  I'll be desk ridden for a couple weeks, but in the end, we hope the result will be a financially well-supported ICTV into 2013 and beyond.
