The Community Room at the Grand Rapids Area Library was jam-packed on Monday, January 28. The crowd was gathered to hear Dave Garshelis talk about bears. It was just a week ago when I went to start up my laptop and it was making a clicking noise.  Our IT staff member quickly determined that it was my primary hard drive that failed.  Since my computer is still under warranty I had a new hard drive overnighted to me and received it the very next day.  Luckily ICTV has a workstation that our intern uses in the summer so I didn’t have any downtime.

ICTV has recently received a new episode of ECHO in the mail. ECHO stands for Emergency Community Health Outreach. These programs focus on important safety and health topics. The latest program is titled, “The Harm of Commercial Tobacco in Our Community.” It focuses on the dangers of tobacco. This program is scheduled to play on ICTV’s Public Access Channel on Monday, January 28 at 8:30pm; Thursday, January 31 at 10:30pm; and Saturday, February 2 at 3:30pm.
