Each Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm, ICTV pulls some programs out of the archive of past productions and plays them on the Public Access Channel. On February 16, we will be replaying the UFDA Radio Show from August 2008. This was an entertaining program put on by the Sons of Norway. The following week, February 23, we are going way back to 1992 and playing footage from the Vinterslass Activities. Keep an eye on ICTV’s schedule to see what’s coming out of the archive next. If there is a program you would like to see come out of the archive,...

Yesterday morning, Just Outdoors host Tom Chapin videotaped exclusive footage of a 39 year old black bear living right here in Itasca County.  DNR biologists put a collar on this bear back in 1981 when the bear was only 7 years old.  To show how unique this bear is you need to compare it to other bears.  Karen Noyce, a biologist with the DNR, said that most bears never make it to their teens.  The fact that this bear has been alive for 39 years is incredible.  Tom will talk with biologists from the DNR when ICTV staff records...
