I have the keys in my pocket to ICTV's future.  The keys open the doors to the former Johnson Office Supply building at 819 NE 4th Street.  ICTV closed on the building this morning.  After some renovations, ICTV hopes to be operating from that site by Christmas.  Staff is so excited that we are having a picnic in the bare building before the contractors get their hands on it.  This was a big move for the Board of Directors but, I think, a smart one.  ICTV will be just a bit closer to the community.  It will be easier to find.  AND it will be a space designed around the needs of the operation.  Our thanks are extended to the Grand Rapids Area Cable Commission for some renovation funds, Karyn Davidson with ReMax 1,000 Lakes, Coldwell Banker, Doug Johnson, Hawk Construction, Ann Smith, First National Bank of Coleraine, City of Grand Rapids Community Development Office and all the others who helped ICTV explore the possibility of being a facility owner and renovate it for the community.  I'll keep you posted on the move.
