
Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority Meetings
The Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority meetings are aired live on ICTV, and recorded for playback between meeting dates. The purpose of the EDA is to foster economic growth, and to help business and government cooperation inside the City of Grand Rapids. The GREDA consists of 7 persons, 2 of which are members of the City Council. The GREDA, on an annual basis, elects its Officers, which include: a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Asst. Treasurer. The GREDA is provided staff support primarily through the Community Development Department, with the Community Development Director acting as the GREDA Executive Director, and with the Community Development Administrative Assistant acting as the Recorder. The Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at 4:00 p.m. in Conference Room 2A of the Grand Rapids City Hall, 420 North Pokegama Avenue, Grand Rapids, Minnesota 55744. All meetings are open to the public.
