Grand Rapids City Council Worksessions
The Grand Rapids City Council work-sessions usually precedes the regular council meetings and are also aired live. ICTV records these meeting for playback in conjunction with the regular council meetings. The government body participating in the work-sessions is identical to the city council meetings, but the setting is less formal. The purpose of these kinds of meetings is to discuss items that would take up too much council time, and for the council to be informed about city departments and happenings in the community in general. No action can be taken on any issues at the work-sessions, but can be referred to the council.
